JoongAng Group dreams of a beautiful world

The JoongAng Groop conveys hope and optimism to
all sectors of society. We value the environment and
help our neighbors in need by sharing our resources
to build a society where all live well together.
The first media group in Korea to take active part in
volunteer campaigns in 1994, The JoongAng Group
has been promoting public campaigns such as The
National Volunteer Festival, disaster relief service,
international emergency relief, volunteer education,
sponsoring COPION (Cooperation and Participation
In Overseas NGOs) and other overseas emergency
relief activities.
Through various arts and culture projects and
events, we hope to make our society all the more
prosperous. The JoongAng Group’s efforts to create
a better and happier world for everyone include
hosting projects such as the We Start Campaign
which supports children from less privileged,
lower-income households to help them begin their
life journeys at the same starting line as other
children. It also hosts the WeAJa Charity Flea
Market, the largest flea market in Korea, the JTBC
Seoul Marathon, Baeksang Arts Awards as
well as Golden Disc Awards.
